What is a crown?
Crowns are used to rebuild broken, damaged or discoloured teeth, and to strengthen weaker teeth and overall improve the cosmetic appearance of the teeth. A crown involves preparing the tooth and taking an impression. This impression will then be sent to our expert lab where they will create a crown to match the shape, size and colour of your natural teeth.
At your next appointment your crown will be tried for fit and colour. The crown is then permanently bonded with dental cement. Maintenance care is similar to that of natural teeth, requiring regular brushing, flossing and checkups with your dentist.
