If you have lost one or more teeth, it may be more than your smile that is suffering.
You may be experiencing difficulty eating and chewing your food properly. You may feel conscious of smiling or even have a slight inability to speak clearly. If so, the ideal solution is tooth replacement using Dental Implants.
Dental implants are so natural looking it will feel and function like your natural tooth and they are easy to maintain, you just brush and floss like a natural tooth.
What is a Dental Implant?
A Dental Implant mimics the tooth root. It is placed underneath the gum and allows your dentist to replace missing teeth with a crown or a bridge on top. The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic. At the time of placement you will be totally numb so that the procedure is pain free.
The Implant is surgically placed under the gum and left to bond for approximately three to four months. In this time the Implant will have integrated with the bone and the result is a secure, strong and stable dental Implant.
After this time an impression of your teeth is taken, sent to our specialist lab where your crown is created, this is made to match the shape, size and colour of your natural teeth.
This crown is then bonded on to the implant using dental cement, replacing your missing tooth/teeth.
